
Khao Sok National Park is located in Surat Thani. It's the largest green nature of rainforest area in the Southern in Thailand. Khao Sok was established the National Park on 22 December 1980. It’s called The National Park Khao Sok which is naturally surrounded by lime stones and cliffs. There is a vast area for tourist locations for example Rajjaprapa dam, Nam Tha Lu Cave, Pa-ka-Rung cave and Mae Yay Waterfall.
There is various exotic wildlife especially the rare savage mammals. One thing the most interesting is the Bua Phut flower (Rafflesia kerrii) growing within the park. It’s the biggest flower in the world.
Moreover, Khao Sok is the amazing place to rest on vacation with activities: Elephant trekking, trekking on foot, canoeing and jeep safaris. This can attract many tourists both Thai and foreigners to visit this gorgeous park in every year.
