This tour gives an insight into the highlights of the ‘Pearl of the Andaman’. It also includes a leisurely drive around Phuket Town to view the Sino-Portuguese-style buildings. Other attractions visited are Wat Chalong – Phuket’s most beautiful and renowned monastery, a Cashew Nut Factory where you may sample the culinary delights on offer and the famous sunset viewpoint at Promthep Cape – one of the most beautiful panoramas on the island. Besides experienced Phuket culture, you will have the chance to Elephant trekking through the rubber plantation and enjoy a young elephant show.

07.30 Pick up all guests from the Hotel Lobby.
  • First stop at our Safari Camp Trek on the back of the elephant through the dense tropical jungle for 30 mins, an exciting, enjoyable & unforgettable experience. See Phuket amazing elephant show you can even try our special baby elephant massage! Also meet & feed the elephants, a great photo opportunity.
  • Then move down to Phuket Old Town Phuket was one of the major Peranakan Chinese cultural centrals, along with Singapore, Malacca and Penang, the dramatic growing of tin mining business in early 19th century, luring in a large number of Chinese merchants from the China mainland. It was led to the constructions of Sino-Portuguese mansions and shop houses in the Phuket town. Some of them are now open as a boutique hotel. A local souvenir shop can be visit during the Explorer tour, locally produced handicrafts and Phuket gifts include cultured pearls, and cashew nut and dried seafood are unique.
  • Heading to Chalong Temple the most famous and sacred temple in Phuket as it was the residence of a respected monk Luang Po Cham, who took part helping people during the Chinese Coolie Rebellion in 1876 during the reign of King Rama V. Locals and visitors usually visit the temple to vow their wishes from the statues, and will return to burn firecrackers when the wishes become true.
  • Wat Phra Yai (Big Buddha Temple) enshrined in the top of Nak Kerd Hill is “Phra Phuttha Ming Mongkhon Ekkanak Khiri,” which is commonly known as Phra Yai (“The Big Buddha”) referring to the size of this Phuket’s largest statue of Lord Buddha. The 45-meter-tall Buddha statue was structured with reinforced concrete and then covered up the surface with white marbles so it sits sparkling underneath the sun. It is the newest religious landmark of Phuket revered by locals and visitors.
  • Don’t missed Phomthep View Point is one of the most famous sunset viewpoints in Thailand. At the cape there is also another important landmark – the Kanchanaphisek Lighthouse. The lighthouse was built in celebration to HM the King’s 50th Birthday Anniversary. You can take beautiful pictures and buy some souvenirs here.
  • Last but not least, visit 3 Beaches View Point is one of the most frequented viewpoints in Phuket. From here, it is possible to take in views of Kata Noi, Kata Yai and Karon beaches.

The only extra cost is the national park fee. It is not included in the tour price and will be required to pay on arrival. All the other extra costs are mentioned here in the booking system. Transport costs depending on your location will be added in the next step of your booking.
