Transfers and travel time
Carnival Magic is in Kamala, around 20–40 minutes from Patong, Kata or Phuket Town depending on traffic. There’s no practical public transport in the evening, so your options are a taxi, a Grab, or a return transfer added to your ticket (typically 450 THB per person from Phuket hotels, or 800 THB from Khao Lak).
